Tapee Tea is sold in packs of 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 250 and 500 teabags. One teabag brews one cup, so the clearest way to compare packs is price per cup rather than the ticket price on the front of the box: the larger the pack, the less each cup costs. Why price per cup is the honest comparison

One teabag makes one cup. There is no scooping, no weighing and no guesswork, so the arithmetic is simple — divide the pack price by the number of teabags and you have the price of a cup. That is the number we would want to see if we were the ones buying, so it is the number we point people at.

Comparing packs by their headline price alone tells you very little, because a bigger box is simply a bigger box. Comparing by the cup tells you what the tea actually costs you to drink. And because every teabag is the same fixed single-cup format — finely ground botanicals, one cup’s worth per bag, each bag sealed inside its own gold-foil sachet — the per-cup figure is directly comparable across every size we sell. How many teabags are in each Tapee Tea pack?

Our sizes run 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 250 and 500 teabags, and each step up the ladder brings the price per cup down. That is the only reason the larger packs exist. The table below is generated live from the store, so the figures in it are the figures you will pay today:

We deliberately do not type product prices into the body text of our pages — the stable shipping thresholds below are the one exception. Prices move, written numbers rot, and a page quoting last season’s figure is a page that misleads you. The live table above and the product page are the only places we quote a price.

One standing price, no was-prices

We run one price per pack, and it stands. There is no struck-through was-price, no countdown clock, no “today only” figure that quietly reappears next week. If a pack costs what it costs, then that is what it costs. The drop in price per cup as you move up the ladder is plain arithmetic on real numbers, not a reduction we invented so that we could announce it. We would rather the table did the persuading than the packaging.

Every pack holds exactly the same tea

Size changes the count and nothing else. A 50-teabag box and a 500-teabag box hold the identical blend of 15 Thai botanicals, ground fine and filled into single-cup teabags, each one sealed in its own gold-foil sachet, blended and packed in Thailand. A larger pack is not a coarser or lesser version of the blend — it is more of the same sachets in a bigger carton, which is why moving up the ladder changes what you pay for a cup and never what is in it. Which Tapee Tea pack size should you choose?

There is no right answer here, only what fits your cupboard. A rough way to think about it:

• 50 teabags — the entry pack, for people who want to find out whether this becomes their sort of tea before committing to a carton of it. Note the shipping charge on this size, below.
• 75 and 100 teabags — the sensible step once you already know you like it, and the point at which tracked shipping stops costing you anything.
• 125 and 150 teabags — a good fit once Tapee Tea has a settled place in your cupboard, or if more than one person in the household reaches for it.
• 250 and 500 teabags — for stocking the cupboard properly, for households that share it, for gifting a stack of sachets to someone who has been asking about it, and for the lowest price per cup we offer.

Whichever size you land on, the teabag behaves the same way: one bag, 250 to 300 ml of water just off the boil, three to five minutes, and a gentle stir for a fuller extraction. Shipping is part of what a cup costs

So here it is plainly, without small print. Every pack from 75 teabags upwards ships free (conditions apply by destination) and fully tracked, as does any order of US$45 or more. The 25-teabag pack carries a US$19.90 shipping charge and the 50-teabag pack US$14.90 — they are our smallest cartons and do not carry their own postage, and we would rather say that on a page about cost than let you discover it at checkout. Where EU import charges apply, they are collected on delivery for the time being — the shipping itself is free and tracked at US$45 or more.

We dispatch from Thailand within 1 to 3 business days, and delivery typically takes 6 to 14 business days after dispatch, tracked the whole way.
